Lightweight ampoule, its main active ingredient is Madagascar Centella Asiatica extract, often used in soothing-type skincare formulas. Free from fragrance, alcohol and dyes.

Apply in a thin layer after cleansing.

Featured active ingredients

  • Centella asiatica (gotu kola) extract: the serum's featured active ingredient. On the full ingredient list it sits after the water, glycerin and butylene glycol base, so it is not the highest-volume ingredient but the highlighted active (the "100% Centella" marketing name; the actual formula also contains water, a humectant, a texture agent and a preservative). Its active compounds are the triterpene saponins madecassoside and asiaticoside, and their aglycones asiatic acid and madecassic acid. The literature studies this group of active ingredients in relation to skin soothing, redness reduction and barrier support.
  • Glycerin: one of the formula's highest-share ingredients (2nd on the list). A basic humectant: it binds water into the upper layers of the stratum corneum via hydrogen bonds and reduces water loss.

    Everything arrived fine. I had my doubts that the site was a scam, but no. I got what was promised. After a 0.5 mm CIT pen (which was quite good, but is not available anymore) and cosmetic mesotherapy (which is expensive, and my skin protested against it so much after the 4th time that I stopped), I am now waiting for this treatment with curiosity.
