Important info

You're in a better position today than you will be tomorrow. The older a scar or a thinning follicle gets, the harder it is to shift. As long as there's something to stimulate, there's something to work with.

The parcel arrived on the third working day after my weekend order 😊 The product matches the description, using it is practically painless, afterwards there is a mild burning feeling and redness. I can report on the effect later, I trust that I have reason to hope. Before use I disinfected not only the stamp but the skin as well, with a spray made specifically for this. I found a face mask as a gift in the parcel, I am really glad about it, thank you!
Special thanks for the detailed description :)
Wishing you much success, kind regards: Edit

Very good quality product, less painful than the roller. The seller is very fair and kind, one detail was missing from my order and he handled it in a very humane way😊

Very professional product and seller. After the 4th time, other people noticed too that my skin is much nicer. Thank you!

Usage on video
  1. 1DisinfectionRinse the needle head with warm water, then disinfect it with 70% or stronger alcohol for 60–120 seconds, and wait until it is completely dry.
  2. 2Cleansing or hair washWash your hands with soap. Wash your face with a gentle foaming cleanser (micellar water isn't enough here), and your scalp with your usual shampoo. Start without makeup, on completely dry skin.
  3. 3StampingDivide the area into smaller sections and stamp gently and perpendicularly: you press down, lift, and don't drag. 4–6 times on each section, each time a little further along. Mild redness and tiny pinpoint bleeding are normal.
  4. 4AftercareThat evening, don't rub it, don't wash it off, and don't put anything on it. The next morning, foaming cleanser, Centella serum, moisturiser, SPF 50. For 24 hours, no makeup, swimming pool, sauna, tanning bed or strong sun. Retinoid and vitamin C: the user guide says 24 hours for retinoids, I wait 48 hours to be on the safe side. Acid exfoliants (AHA/BHA): at least one week, a published review recommends this. Every skin is different, find out what works for you. We've put together the ingredients for face and scalp separately: Tips and ingredients →

What else do I need to buy?
  1. 170% alcohol: for disinfecting the stampBefore stamping, the stamp needs to soak in alcohol. The instructions for use name 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA), and the steps call for a 70% or stronger alcohol-based disinfectant. 70% ethyl alcohol is such a disinfectant too. According to the disinfection guidance of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), ethyl alcohol acts on a broader range of viruses, while isopropyl was slightly stronger on two tested bacteria (E. coli, S. aureus). I also show the process on video, in the "Usage on video" section, and I detail it in the instructions in the box.
  2. 2SPF 50 sunscreen: if you use it on your faceStamped skin is more sensitive to UV radiation, so you need SPF 50 every morning, starting the morning after.
  3. 3Gentle cleanser: if you use it on your faceYou need a gentle, foaming cleanser; micellar water isn't enough here. Start without makeup, on completely dry skin. The alcohol is for the stamp's needle head.
Why is it single-use?
  1. 1This is a manufacturer requirementThe device is registered as single-use (EU-MDR Class I): according to the manufacturer's instructions, one treatment, one person, and after that it can't be cleaned or reused. This is a requirement.
  2. 2Every session is a clean startThis way, you start every treatment with a new device, factory-treated with an electron beam and then disinfected by you before use.
  3. 3Less guesswork at homeYou don't have to wonder how many times you've used it, how clean it stayed, or whether the needles have degraded. One treatment equals one stamp: a simpler, more consistent, more hygienic routine.

I'm training to be a cosmetologist, and I found microneedling because of my own hair loss and skin problems. I want to bring this mechanism home as safely as possible, for you too. I stamp my own scalp weekly, and my face every 2–3 weeks.

Eveningon treatment day

  1. Foaming face wash Micellar water is not enough here. Start with completely dry skin.
  2. Alcohol for the stamp Rinse it with warm water, soak it for at least 1–2 minutes in 70% or stronger alcohol, and let it dry.
  3. Dermastamp Section by section, perpendicular, 4–6 times, always moving it a little.
  4. Nothing Do not wash it off, do not rub it, and do not put anything on it.

Next morningon the treated skin

  1. Foaming face wash
  2. Centella serum After cleansing, under the moisturiser.
  3. Moisturiser
  4. SPF 50 Every morning from now on.

  1. Makeup, pool, sauna 24 hoursTanning beds and strong sun too.
  2. Retinoid, vitamin C 48 hoursThe user guide says 24 hours for retinoids; to be on the safe side I wait 48.
  3. Acid exfoliant at least a weekAHA, BHA. A 2025 microneedling review advises against exfoliants for at least a week after the treatment.

Every skin is different, find out what works for you.

On the face one treatment every 2–3 weeks, always with a new stamp. Treat the same area again no sooner than 7–14 days later.

Peptides, copper peptide (GHK-Cu)?
I did not find a study that measured timing, so this is my own reading. I would put the peptide into the everyday evening routine, continuously, from the 2nd–3rd day after the treatment, and I would not force it into the hours after stamping. I would use it at a different time of day from vitamin C: vitamin C in the morning, peptide in the evening.

Why this device

Dermastamp, and an anonymous online stamp or roller

Which rules apply A medical device under the EU MDR (2017/745). So it can only be placed on the market if the manufacturer has drawn up its technical documentation, including the evaluation of the compatibility of the skin-contacting materials with tissues, runs risk management, the labelling complies, and the device is listed in EUDAMED with a unique device identifier (UDI). If it is not sold as a medical device, the General Product Safety Regulation (EU 2023/988) applies: it must be safe and the manufacturer must carry out a risk analysis, but it does not require a separate skin-compatibility evaluation, a UDI or EUDAMED registration.
Skin contact An independent laboratory ran the ISO 10993 skin compatibility tests on the manufacturer’s sample (effect on cells, skin irritation, sensitisation), and the sample passed all three. I will show you the reports in full on request. ?
Registration EU MDR class I medical device, in EUDAMED as UDI-DI 06976567878014. ?
Who you can turn to EU importer, registered as HU-IM-000051605. That is me. ?
Needle length Fixed 1.0 mm, not adjustable. Such devices are made with needles up to 3 mm.
Use Single use, a new stamp for every treatment. ?
Manufacturing Electron-beam (e-beam) treatment during manufacturing. According to the irradiation certificate of one production lot (M80260120): required at least 8 kGy, measured 8.11 kGy. Not sterile: you disinfect it before use. ?
Needle material SUS304 medical steel, gold coated (manufacturer’s declaration). ?
Protocol Step by step, in English, from someone who has been using it regularly himself for more than a year. ?

Stamp or dermaroller?
A roller rolls, so the needles go in and come out at an angle. You press the stamp straight down and lift it straight up, on the hairy scalp too. I compared the two in detail here: Dermastamp or dermaroller.

What to expect?

Does it hurt? What to expect the first time?
Pain zones when microneedling the face, personal experience

Personal experience

Not pleasant, but in my own experience, clearly bearable. On the image I marked how sensitive I found each zone:

  • Green: easiest. Forehead, most of the face.
  • Yellow: noticeable, but comfortable. Around the eyebrows, nose bridge, jaw.
  • Red: more sensitive, but short-lived. Nose, under-eye area, around the mouth. Don't stamp near the eyelid or inner corner of the eye.

In my experience the scalp is less sensitive than the face. The first session feels the most unfamiliar, but based on customer feedback, most people expect it to be worse than it is.

How long does your skin stay red?
Skin before microneedling
Sunday · 21:00Before microneedling
Skin right after microneedling
Sunday · 21:15Right after
Skin the next morning, most of the redness gone
Monday · 7:30Next morning. Most of the redness is gone.

In my experience the redness on the face fades within a few hours, with little trace left by the next morning. In more sensitive zones (nose, around the mouth) it can take a bit longer. On the scalp it's less visible, mostly covered by hair, and settles faster.

If the symptoms get stronger or do not go away, or you see signs of infection (increasing pain, pus, fever), stop and see a healthcare professional.

No makeup for 24 hours. From the next morning, SPF 50 every morning.

What's allowed and what isn't after stamping? →

Personal experience, individual reactions may vary.

What shouldn't you use it for?

Don't use it on irritated, sunburned, actively inflamed, or infected skin. Not recommended for open wounds, active acne, eczema, or psoriasis-affected areas. If you take blood thinners or are under dermatological treatment, check with your doctor.

Age, pregnancy: Under 18. During pregnancy or breastfeeding only after talking to your doctor.

Your skin in the treated area: Open wound, abrasion, burn, fresh scar, active inflammation, eczema, psoriasis, fungal or bacterial infection. Severe acne, a tendency to keloids or abnormal scarring.

Illness, medication: Uncontrolled diabetes, a blood clotting disorder, blood thinners. Active cancer, chemotherapy or radiotherapy. HIV/AIDS, hepatitis or another severe infection.

Allergy: A known allergy to the disinfectant or to the cosmetics you use. If you have a metal allergy, especially to nickel, ask a healthcare professional first: the needles are SUS304 steel, gold-plated.

Where not to use it: Eyelids, the very thin skin around the eyes, mucous membranes, mouth, nostrils, genitals.

For hair loss: if the shedding came on suddenly or is patchy, or if scarring hair loss has been diagnosed, see a doctor about it. The stamp isn't the answer for these.

You'll find the full list of contraindications in the instructions for use that comes with every package. You can review the full risk picture here: Before you buy.

How do you know it's enough? How hard should you press?

Stamp gently and perpendicularly: you press down, lift, and don't drag. Divide the area into smaller sections and go over each one 4–6 times, each time a little further along. It's enough when you see mild redness and a few tiny pinpoint spots of blood here and there. The needle is a fixed 1.0 mm and can't be adjusted, so you can't accidentally go deeper.

The goal is even coverage.

Why 1 mm, and why isn't it adjustable?

I didn't want a deeper device for home use. On most of the facial skin, the 1 mm needle reaches at most the upper-middle band of the dermis, the layer where the collagen-producing cells (fibroblasts) are. A simple design: a needle stamp with no moving parts. Press down gently, the depth comes from the length of the needle. Fixed 1.0 mm, it can't be adjusted, so you can't accidentally go deeper. I didn't choose an adjustable one because I don't consider the moving parts of an adjustable head properly disinfectable at home.

When will I get it, and how do I pay?

Cash on delivery for one-time purchases: you pay when the parcel is in your hands. A subscription starts with card payment; card payment is also available for one-time purchases. Foxpost parcel locker 990 Ft, free from 21,000 Ft and with a subscription.

When can I see a change?

The studies on wrinkles and acne scars measured results months after the start, typically between 3 and 8 months. For hair loss, microneedling was added alongside minoxidil, for 3–6 months with regular sessions. These studies used other devices, and I cannot tell you your result in advance.

How does the subscription work?

With the scalp subscription a 4-pack arrives on its own every 4 weeks, with free parcel-locker delivery. In your account, under My subscription, you can skip a pack, pause or cancel. There is no minimum term, and a pack you have already paid for still arrives after you cancel. Payment is handled by the Shopify checkout; I never see your full card number.

If the needle device isn't for you

Microneedling isn't like rubbing in a cream: it comes with a protocol, which I provide, and it isn't for everyone. I have another product that doesn't touch your face: the LED light mask. A different device with a different purpose; its own page describes everything about it, including what it isn't for.

For both, the basics come first: daily sunscreen, a gentle cleanser, a moisturiser.
